Born from friendship.
ONDA started with two best friends, a shared love for Pilates, and one very simple thought: why are all the towels so boring?
We wanted a towel that felt as intentional as the workout itself.
Two best friends + one idea.
We met at Florida Atlantic University and quickly bonded over
our shared love for wellness, Pilates and all things aesthetic.
Every time we showed up to class, we noticed the same thing:
the towels never felt as considered, stylish or fun as the rest
of the experience.
One day we looked at each other and said,
“Why don’t we just make our own?”
That simple idea became ONDA.
Created from the ground up.
What started as a conversation turned into late-night planning
sessions, sample testing, designing prints, packing orders and
learning how to build a brand from scratch.
We wanted to create a Pilates and yoga mat towel that was
functional enough for your workout and cute enough to make you
excited to bring it to class.
Each ONDA towel measures 25 × 73 inches and is designed to fit
most standard mats, with an absorbent surface, grip backing and
statement prints made to bring personality to your practice.
Movement. Flow.
Energy. Rhythm.
ONDA means “wave” in Portuguese. To us, a wave represents
movement, flow, energy and rhythm — everything we want your
workout to feel like.
The name is also personal to our story. Amanda is Brazilian,
and Brazil has always inspired the warmth, energy and effortless
feeling we want ONDA to embody. Choosing a Portuguese word felt
like the perfect way to honor that connection while creating a
name centered around movement.
